A powerful solution for the entrance which combine fire- and rescue routes with comfortable access.

To the left, the front doors provide a welcoming entrance to the many experiences, and to the right, guests can leave after an inspiring day in the experience park. We are on the Danish west coast at Naturkraft in Ringkøbing. Here, GEZE has delivered and installed a complete solution for the entrance doors, with optimal security for the many visitors who move in and out of the building on a daily basis. For Naturkraft, it is crucial that all guests feel both welcome and safe when they visit the experience park.

At Naturkraft all forces are in play

Natural power is an area that puts nature's fascinating forces into play. With playfull activities both indoors and outdoors, guests experience how nature, sustainability and climate are connected. With expectations of a high number of visitors, the safety of guests is the main focus. When replacing the building's main entrance and exit, GEZE was contacted for the optimal swing door solution. From the experience park, the wish list was high, and many requirements had to be met by the two automatic double-door sections that ensure entry and exit. As Denmark’s only supplier with an approved total solution that complies with all directives and applicable legislation, GEZE was in close dialogue with Naturkraft, ensuring delivery and installation of the perfect solution that lived up to all the park's needs.

A solution with a focus on full security

Entrance and exit are both very accessible.

In the large glass facade of the impressive building, the entrance and exit doors are located next to each other. Both consist of two double hinged doors in aluminum profiles with lead-proof glass. The complete solution is approved in accordance with current directives and standards.

Welcome to Naturkraft

Both entrance and exit doors are equipped with GEZE Powerturn F swing door automation with safety sensors GC342 in accordance with EN16005. In addition to this, both doors are equipped with panic bars on the inside and IQ lock which ensures escape route possibility according to EN1125. With a windbreak between the first and second double doors, the building presents optimal accessibility for all guests.

Daily ventilation and replacement air are combined in the same door

Powerturn F is installed with safety sensor GC 342.

To meet Naturkraft's need for ventilation, both double doors are approved for replacement air as well as daily ventilation. The daily ventilation is controlled automatically with the GEZE K600, which is connected to the temperature sensor in the building. The K600 automatic drive, which is discreetly located behind the door automation, also ensures that the doors open for the supply of replacement air. This happens automatically in case of smoke, where the roof of the building is equipped with external mechanical smoke extraction. The system activates the K600 drive on the door and the IQ lock switches off, opening the doors. In addition to the daily security for all guests, the doors are also secured against burglary with GEZE IQ lock and lead-free glass in the doors.
